A Reddit user, who works as a maid at a five-star hotel in Europe, has shared a disturbing story about a guest with a severe case of diarrhea. The guest, who appeared to be intoxicated, left his room and ran down the corridor, leaving a trail of feces behind him. The maid, who uses the username Okayy-Macaroon-4008, recounted the incident as the most disgusting she has encountered on the job. She also recalled another incident where a room was found to be littered with used condoms, covering the floor. While the maid does not expect guests to be tidy, she appreciates it when they make an effort to leave their rooms in a decent state. According to her, a slightly cleaned-up room can save time, but messes are not the end of the world and are usually quickly dealt with. This is not the first time a luxury hotel staff member has spoken out about unusual or difficult guests. Another employee previously shared a story about a constantly intoxicated guest who would often experience gastrointestinal issues when interacting with staff in the lobby.
