Terry Crews' Travel Secrets: From Brazil to Dubai

Terry Crews is no stranger to traveling in style. As a former NFL player, actor, and TV host, he's constantly on the go, jetting off to exotic destinations for work and play. We caught up with him to talk about his favorite travel spots, his tips for sleeping on long flights, and what he looks for in a dream vacation. Crews revealed that he gets his best sleep on planes, and his secret is to exhaust himself before a long flight. 'I love to get all tired, make my day as busy as possible, and then I can't wait to get on that flight and put my eye mask on,' he said. He also reminisced about his first flight in business class, which was when he was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 1991. 'It was amazing,' he said. 'I had only taken a couple of flights before, and they were flying me out from Michigan all the way to Orange County, California, to meet with the team.' Crews has been filming his new YouTube series, Crews Control, in various locations around the world, including Monaco, Melbourne, and Brazil. He said that Brazil has taken him in as its 'son,' and he feels a deep connection to the country and its people. 'There's no other place that treats me with so much honor and so much grace,' he said. He also sang the praises of Dubai, which he thinks is an underrated destination. 'Dubai is so gorgeous,' he said. 'The people, the food, it's really amazing.' When it comes to what he looks for in a vacation, Crews said that he values time with his family above all else. 'My vacation is home,' he said. 'Because most of the time, when I'm out and about, or when I get invited to an event, it's work. So coming home and sitting by the pool, that's vacation.'
