Summer Vacation Price Tag: What a Trip to Southern Russia Will Cost You in 2026

If you’re planning a summer getaway to Russia’s southern beaches, be prepared to open your wallet a bit wider. According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), the average bill for a two-person holiday in the region will hit 130,000 rubles for a nine-night stay this coming season.

More than half of Russian travelers—51 percent—are expected to head to the Krasnodar region. That’s up about 3,000 rubles from last year, when a package without airfare ranged from 100,000 to 127,000 rubles. Crimea is also seeing a price hike: a ten-night trip there now costs between 117,000 and 150,000 rubles, compared to a maximum of 120,000 rubles in 2025.

Where are people actually booking? The big winner is Anapa. Tour operators report a 35 percent jump in reservations for hotels there. Meanwhile, Sochi is losing some steam—bookings in the city’s accommodations have dropped by 15 to 20 percent.

This shift isn’t a surprise. Earlier reports showed a massive surge in interest for Black Sea resorts overall. Demand for trips to Anapa, Gelendzhik, and Adler has climbed as high as 95 percent compared to last year. So if you’re hoping to snag a deal, you might want to act fast—or look beyond the most popular spots.
