Summer Travel Diaries: What Our Editors Are Packing for Megève, Ibiza, and Copenhagen

June is here, and our team is scattering across Europe and beyond. From World Cup matches in Kansas City to regattas off Sorrento, we're chasing summer at full speed. Here's what's on our radar—and in our suitcases.

Olivia Squire, our features editor, started the season in the Scottish Highlands at Glen Dye, a collection of art-filled cottages. She stopped by the newly opened luxury dry goods store, where you have to write, call, or visit to buy anything—delightfully old-school. Next came Hope by WildLand, a rewilding project on 120,000 acres of Sutherland wilderness. Then it was on to the Black Horse, a revamped 11-room pub in Amberley, where chef Antonio serves Italian-inflected dishes using produce from nearby Nutbourne Estate. She also made her annual pilgrimage to Charleston Festival, picking up Olivia Laing's "The Silver Book"—a beach read with bite. Back in London, she's eyeing Bar Etna and The Golden Tooth, plus Mighty Hoopla festival to see Lily Allen. Her wardrobe staples: Cos fisherman sandals, a Sézane nautical shirt, and a Damson Madder dress that looks like a picnic blanket.

Charlie Hobbs, associate editor, is heading to a wedding in Megève, the French ski town that starred in the opening scenes of "Charade." He's packing a custom navy tuxedo from Todd Snyder—fits him perfectly, since off-the-rack options don't. He'll pair it with Weejuns loafers. No checked bag, though; his family is continuing on to Paris and London by train. His go-to comfort pieces: Tekla pajama shorts handed down by a colleague and decade-old Uniqlo barrel pants that only get better with age.

Megan Wilkes, art production manager, kicked off summer with a penthouse stay at Fulham Pier Hotel in London, built on the grounds of the city's oldest football stadium. This month, she's off to Ibiza's northern coast for yoga and sailing at Cala San Miguel Resort, packing Second Summer linen and high SPF. Then it's on to Portugal, where she'll stay at a Belle Époque-inspired house on Praia de Armação de Pêra. Her travel jewelry rule: no necklaces or bracelets, but an anklet is non-negotiable.

Arati Menon, global digital director, lives by a simple rule: summer means Copenhagen. She's staying at the Nimb Hotel, next to Tivoli Gardens, where she'll drink cocktails on the terrace and debut her new Araks poppy-colored swim set in the rooftop pool. Museum visits are a toss-up between Louisiana and Ordrupgaard. She'll shop for Hay pajamas, Copenhagen Studio boots, vintage lithographs from Bendtsens, and Arket shirts. Dinner at Krogs, daytime bites at Cabin, and all the pastries are on the menu.

Drew Burns, art editor, just returned from the Loro Piana IMA Maxi European Championship Regatta in Sorrento. He's gearing up for more ocean time: a weekend in Mawgan Porth with a Finisterre waterproof tote, then his first trip to Greece, wandering the island of Patmos with a loukoumade in hand.

Jessica Chapel, commerce writer, checked into the Vanderpump Hotel in Las Vegas, a jewel box redesign of the former Cromwell. Her packing strategy: lightweight, breathable pieces that mix and match. Zara embroidered set for pool days, Cole Haan buckle slides, a leopard-print Mango dress, and Tecovas Abby boots. The Bandolier Celeste bag with a convertible strap ties it all together.

Megan Spurrell, senior features editor, attended her third World Cup—this time in Kansas City for Argentina versus Algeria. She packed multiple jerseys, including a Carolina K. knit number and Cossa New York reworked styles, plus her husband's classic Messi shirt. Silver Puma speedcats and Adidas leopard print shorts completed the sporty look. All fit in her Arlo Skye expandable checked bag.

Jamie Spain, travel bookings editor, spent two weeks in Italy and Spain. In Florence, she stayed at Portrait Firenze on the Arno and fell in love with the city's art scene. Her packing hack: silk scarves. Three of them transformed her basic outfits—tied around her waist, in her hair, or as a top. In Barcelona, she stayed at El Palace and Hotel Arts, using public transit and eating local. Her sun protection: Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF 50+ and lightweight Stradivarius Poplin Bloomer trousers that pack down small.

From Norwegian island retreats to Greek beaches, our editors are ready for summer. All that's left is the packing.
