Scorching Heatwave from Europe to Envelop Russia

A severe heatwave that has been gripping several European countries is expected to spread to Russia's Kalingrad region, according to recent weather forecasts. France, Spain, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland have all been placed on high alert due to the extreme temperatures. On June 24, Paris saw a record-breaking high of 40.9 degrees Celsius, while the temperature peaked at just under 40 degrees the following day. The heatwave has also claimed lives and left many injured. The UK has not been spared, with temperatures soaring to 36.4 degrees in the southwest. As the heatwave shifts from Western Europe to the East, temperatures are expected to soar to nearly 40 degrees. Russia's Kalingrad region can expect temperatures of up to 38 degrees on June 29, while western Belarus may see temperatures reach 42 degrees. The heatwave will also affect Russia's Pskov, Smolensk, and Bryansk regions, although temperatures are not expected to exceed 40 degrees in these areas. Meanwhile, Moscow can expect a rise in temperatures, with highs of 26-28 degrees possible by June 28, according to weather forecasts.
