Russia’s Top Tourism Forum Opens at VDNH with Global Lineup

Moscow’s iconic VDNH exhibition grounds are playing host this week to the sixth edition of the International Tourism Forum “Travel!”, a major industry gathering that kicked off Monday with a ceremonial parade of participants. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko officially opened the event, which runs from June 10 through June 14.

Chernyshenko, joined by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Vakhruskov and Roskongress Foundation Deputy Director Vladimir Zatynayko, toured the exhibition floor shortly after the opening ceremony. The forum brings together Russian regions, foreign countries, and travel companies, all showcasing their latest tourism offerings.

“Participants in the sixth International Forum ‘Travel!’ – both regions and companies – have brought their best tourism products here,” Chernyshenko said in a statement released by his office. “We have a unique chance to choose the trip of our dreams.”

This year’s event features dozens of exhibitors from across Russia and abroad, highlighting everything from domestic nature getaways to international cultural tours. Organizers bill the forum as a key industry platform, designed to connect travelers directly with destinations and tour operators.

For visitors, the forum offers a chance to browse travel options, attend seminars, and meet representatives from participating regions. The event is open to the public at VDNH through Friday.
