Russian Travelers Keep Antalya Bookings Flowing Into November, Says Agent

Russians continue to dominate holiday bookings in Turkey’s Antalya region, with reservations rolling in well past the summer peak. Mustafa Beyuksutun, a local travel agent, told RIA Novosti that Russia remains the top source market for the Mediterranean resort, and the season is expected to stretch through the end of November.

After a slow start during the early booking period—blamed on tensions in the Middle East, including U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran—demand picked up sharply in July. By July 20, more than 6.5 million foreign tourists had visited Antalya, and that number could approach 8 million by month’s end. Germany and the United Kingdom follow Russia as the largest feeder markets, trailed by Poland, the Netherlands, and Ukraine. Hoteliers report that Ukrainian bookings have grown compared to last year.

Antalya, Turkey’s premier beach destination, has long relied on Russian visitors. In 2025, nearly 4 million Russians came to the region, making up the largest foreign guest group. Most choose all-inclusive packages, and the season typically runs from April to November. Thanks to the mild climate, a number of hotels stay open year-round, but agents say the current booking wave shows no signs of slowing until late autumn.
