Russian Travelers Can Now Visit 86 Countries Without a Visa—Here’s the Full List

Good news for Russian passport holders: a new analysis from Corporate Travel reveals that Russians can enter 86 countries without a visa, including popular destinations like Brazil, Vietnam, Morocco, and South Africa. Another 38 nations offer simplified entry through e-visas or visas on arrival, such as Egypt, India, Kenya, and South Korea.

For visa-free travel, all you need is a passport valid for at least six months beyond your trip and compliance with the allowed stay. Some countries may ask for a return ticket, hotel booking, or proof of funds. E-visas must be applied for online in advance, while visas on arrival are handled at airports or border crossings.

Neighboring countries like Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, and Belarus remain open without a visa. In the Middle East, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, the UAE, Oman, and Palestine are accessible, with Saudi Arabia set to join the list on May 11, 2026. Across Asia, Mongolia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka (with an electronic travel authorization), and the Philippines are among the options. Africa offers Angola, Tunisia, Mauritius, and the Seychelles (also requiring an e-authorization). In the Americas, Russians can visit Argentina, Cuba, Colombia, Peru, and many Caribbean islands. Europe includes Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Oceania features Fiji, Vanuatu, and Samoa.

However, the Russian Foreign Ministry strongly advises against tourist travel to several Middle Eastern countries due to ongoing conflicts and disrupted air travel. The Ministry of Economic Development has recommended that tour operators suspend sales for the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. Similar advice applies to Cuba, where a fuel crisis persists.

Corporate Travel CEO Elena Borovaya suggests focusing on destinations with direct flights from Russian airlines, such as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, India, and the Seychelles for the upcoming May holidays and summer season.
