Russian Tourist Detained in Turkey After Dispute at Hotel Party

A Russian tourist has been arrested in Turkey following an argument with a local man that escalated into harassment allegations. The incident took place at a party in the Corendon Hydros Club Kemer hotel in Kemer, according to reports from the Telegram channel Mash.
Anna and Viktor Trokhin, a married couple, were attending the event when Viktor got into a heated exchange with a Turkish man named Volkan. Anna says the two men traded insults and then went back to their rooms. But the next day, Volkan filed a police complaint, claiming the fight started because Viktor made unwanted advances toward him.
Viktor was taken into custody at the hotel and transferred to the Antalya detention center, without any witness interviews or preliminary investigation, according to Anna. She has reached out to the Russian Consulate General for help. A tourist support center also contacted her, offering guidance on next steps and helping her find a lawyer.
Anna is scheduled to fly back to Russia in six days, but no court date has been set for her husband’s case yet.
