Russian May Day Getaways: The Priciest Hotel Stays Revealed

For some Russian families, the May holidays came with a hefty price tag. According to data from travel service OneTwoTrip, a single night at a five-star Moscow hotel—without meals—cost one family with a child a staggering 294,000 rubles.
Coming in second was the town of Klin. There, two adults and one child spent three days at a luxury hotel with breakfast included, paying 290,000 rubles. Rounding out the top three was St. Petersburg, where a group of seven checked into a five-star property for three nights—no meals—for 252,000 rubles.
Analysts also flagged expensive bookings in Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan. In the Volga capital, six adults paid 204,000 rubles for five nights at a four-star hotel with breakfast. In Kazan, a company of five adults and one child spent 186,000 rubles on three nights at a four-star hotel, also with breakfast.
