Russia's Hottest Summer Spots Revealed

As the summer season heats up, Russian travelers are flocking to their favorite domestic destinations. According to a recent study by the ticketing service 'Kupibilet', Kalingrad has emerged as the top choice for July, with over twice as many bookings as the second-place finisher, Sochi. The average cost of a one-way flight to Kalingrad was 12,900 rubles, significantly lower than Sochi's average price of 22,200 rubles. Makhachkala took third place, with an average flight cost of 13,100 rubles. Other popular spots included Vladivostok and Mineralnye Vody. These findings come on the heels of a previous survey, which named Adler in the Krasnodar region as Russia's most beloved summer resort town. As Russians opt for staycations over international travel, these destinations are poised to reap the benefits of a bustling summer tourist season. With their unique blend of culture, history, and natural beauty, it's no wonder these cities are attracting so much attention from travelers. Whether you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation or an action-packed adventure, Russia's got you covered.
