Rally Championship Races to Arkhyz Resort for the First Time This Summer

For the first time, a stage of the Russian Rally Championship is headed to the North Caucasus. The Arkhyz resort will host the fourth round of the Tatneft series, dubbed "Rally Caucasus," from July 22 to 26, 2026. This marks the largest rally event ever staged in the North Caucasus Federal District, according to a joint announcement from the resort and event promoter Avtosportmediagroup.

The agreement was signed between Arkhyz (part of the Mantera Group) and the official promoter of the Russian Rally Championship and Cup. The four-day competition will draw between 80 and 160 crews per stage, with crowd numbers typically exceeding 7,000 spectators. The championship runs from January through October across Russia, featuring diverse surfaces—from winter tracks in Karelia and Khabarovsk to gravel roads in the south.

Arkhyz, best known as a ski destination, will transform into a rally hub next July, offering fans a rare chance to see high-speed action against the backdrop of the Caucasus Mountains. Organizers expect the event to boost local tourism and showcase the region's potential for motorsport. With its rugged terrain and scenic routes, the resort aims to become a regular stop on the rally calendar.

Details on spectator access and specific stages are expected closer to the event date.
