Rag & Bone's Viral Sweatpant Jeans: A Traveler's Honest Review

When it comes to airport outfits, comfort usually wins over style. But one traveler may have found a pair of pants that does both. After spotting a friend looking fashionable and comfortable in jeans on a flight home from Rome, she picked up Rag & Bone's viral sweatpant jeans-pants that mimic structured denim but feel as soft as pajamas.
She chose the rb Miramar Shea ankle relaxed straight pant in Lakewood, a medium wash. Made of 100% cotton, the pants have a printed denim design, a real button and zipper, and front and back pockets. She says they look polished enough for a five-star resort check-in yet comfortable enough for a packed economy flight.
She also tried two other styles. The rb Miramar Sofie wide-leg pant in Antonia has a two-tone design but runs very long. The rb Miramar wide-leg ankle pant in Minetta is a pull-on style with a printed button and fake pockets-the least denim-like of the three.
A key note: the pants run large in both length and size. The ankle length is designed for those 5'4" and below, but even at 5'4" with platform shoes, they brushed the ground. Regular length is for 5'5" and above, yet one tester found them exceptionally long and unwearable without hemming. More styles are available in regular length than ankle.
