Prince William met with a youth women’s football team in Riyadh on Tuesday, engaging in a training session and discussing the growth of female sports participation in Saudi Arabia. The visit, part of a three-day trip at the UK government’s request, aims to bolster bilateral relations, with a stated focus on youth engagement and environmental transition.

Earlier in the week, the Prince of Wales presented Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman with a signed England shirt from captain Harry Kane during what Kensington Palace described as a warm and wide-ranging meeting. William’s itinerary was briefly punctuated by questions shouted from the sidelines about the Royal Family’s handling of allegations involving Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein.
