Pobeda Flight from Moscow to Antalya Diverts to Mineralnye Vody Over Cabin Heat

A Pobeda Airlines flight bound for Antalya made an unscheduled landing at Mineralnye Vody on Saturday after the crew reported elevated cabin temperatures and the need to check the air conditioning system.
The aircraft, operating flight DP-859 from Moscow, touched down at the alternate airport under standard procedures, the carrier said. Passengers were escorted to the terminal, given water, and were to be offered food shortly. Technicians inspected the plane while they waited.
Pobeda said a replacement aircraft would take travellers on to Antalya, with departure tentatively set for 18:15 Moscow time. The airport confirmed that schedule.
The Southern Transport Prosecutors' Office said the diversion was for technical reasons, and the Mineralnye Vody interdistrict transport prosecutor is monitoring that passengers' rights are observed, with possible action if grounds are found.
