Boca Raton TribuneSaturday, July 18, 2026

A pair of Palm Beach County landmarks have earned top marks from Travel + Leisure readers. The Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach was named the fourth-best resort in the continental U.S. and the No. 1 resort in Florida, while President Donald J. Trump International Airport in West Palm Beach ranked 10th among domestic airports. The accolades come from the magazine’s 2026 World’s Best Awards, based on a survey of 207,000 travelers.

The Four Seasons scored 98.56 out of 100, earning it the 51st spot on the global hotel list. General manager Mark Bingle credited the team’s dedication, saying the recognition “reflects the unforgettable experiences our team creates every day.” The airport, which rebranded from Palm Beach International on July 9, received a 78.70 score for its access, security, dining, shopping, and design. Laura Beebe, director of the Palm Beach County Department of Airports, called the honor “a testament to the dedication of our employees, airline partners, and concessionaires.”

Other Florida properties also made the cut. The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach ranked third among state resorts, followed by Amrit Ocean Resort in Riviera Beach at No. 4 and The Boca Raton at No. 6. Tampa International Airport secured seventh place on the domestic airport list. Travel + Leisure Editor in Chief Jacqui Gifford noted that this year’s winners reflect travelers’ desire for “destinations that feel distinctive, memorable, and deeply rooted in place.”
