Nude Sunbathing on Spanish Beach Ends in Arrest for Three Austrian Tourists

A group of three Austrian tourists learned the hard way that nude sunbathing is not tolerated on the popular Playa de Palma beach in Majorca, Spain. According to local reports, the men decided to strip down and soak up the sun in a designated swimming area, with two of them lounging on the sand and the third taking a dip in the sea. Their naked escapade was cut short when a passing police patrol spotted them. Officers ordered the men to get dressed, but the one in the water ignored the request and continued swimming. In a bizarre turn of events, a police officer borrowed a surfboard from lifeguards and paddled out to confront the naked swimmer, persuading him to come ashore. All three men were eventually arrested and now face a fine of 750 euros each. This incident is not the first time a nude incident has made headlines on the Spanish islands. Recently, a 29-year-old Colombian man was caught on video hanging naked from a glass balcony frame while visiting friends on the island of Ibiza. The authorities are cracking down on public nudity, and tourists are being reminded to respect local laws and customs.
