New Russian lottery to support Golden Ring tourism route

Russia’s largest distributor of national state lotteries, Stoloto, has started selling tickets for a new draw called Golden Ring from Russian Lotto. The company told RIA Novosti that targeted contributions from the lottery will support the development of the Golden Ring national tourist route.
The first draw is scheduled for 4 August at 18:00 Moscow time, with subsequent draws held daily at 20:00. Half of ticket revenue goes into the prize fund, while 4.5% of 2026 revenue will be sent to the federal budget as targeted contributions, rising to 5% in 2027 and 5.5% in 2028. The minimum guaranteed super prize is 100 million rubles.
In 2027, the Golden Ring will mark its 60th anniversary and will be expanded by 49 towns and villages, including places in the Nizhny Novgorod and Tver regions. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said that in 2025 the Golden Ring regions and Moscow together attracted 24 million tourists, accounting for 27% of all domestic tourist trips.
