Moscow Repels Massive Drone Attack, Shoots Down 80 UAVs

In a significant escalation of tensions, Moscow has come under a large-scale drone attack, with the city's defenses successfully downing 80 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city's air defenses, run by Russian forces, intercepted and destroyed the drones. The latest wave of attacks saw 10 more drones shot down between 9:20 and 10:00 am, adding to the 70 already neutralized since the start of the day. Emergency services are currently working at the sites where the drone debris fell. This incident follows a major attack on June 18, when Moscow's air defenses destroyed over 190 enemy drones in a single night, marking the largest such incident in two years. Just days ago, on June 22, Russian defenses shot down 301 Ukrainian drones over 14 regions. The ongoing drone attacks underscore the intensifying conflict and the significant measures being taken to protect the city and its inhabitants.
