Monaco's Hôtel Hermitage Unveils Elegant Renovations and New Bar
The iconic Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo has embarked on an exciting new chapter, with a series of renovations and updates that blend seamlessly with its rich history. Originally a modest inn known as 'le Petit Hermitage' when it opened in 1864, the hotel has undergone numerous transformations over the years, including a major renovation between 2003 and 2011. The latest changes, which include the unveiling of over 40 renovated rooms in the Prince wing and the introduction of modular Diamond Suites, are part of a ongoing effort to modernize the property while preserving its Belle Époque charm. One of the most striking new additions is Bar Gustave, a beautifully designed bar located in the lobby and winter garden, beneath the hotel's stunning glass-and-steel dome. Designed by interior architect Shirine Zirak, the bar's elegant decor and refined atmosphere make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Meanwhile, at the nearby Monte-Carlo Beach, the Olympic pool and Le Deck restaurant have been refreshed for the second consecutive year, with a new collaboration with French fashion brand Jacquemus bringing a bold new look to the Beach Club's pier and Pool Café. The beach resort has also welcomed a new restaurant, La Vigie Zanoni Monte-Carlo, which serves up delicious Italian-inspired cuisine with a focus on pasta, shareable starters, and grilled meat and fish. With its unique blend of history, elegance, and modern style, the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo and Monte-Carlo Beach are must-visit destinations for anyone looking to experience the best of Monaco's luxury hospitality.
