Mishustin Calls on Altai Republic to Share Its History with Tourists

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has recommended that the Altai Republic do more to show tourists the region's rich history. At a meeting with regional head Andrei Turchak, he said developing creative industries, museums, and places where local history groups tell visitors about Altai would be a good addition to what the republic already offers.
Mishustin also spoke about a recent trip to Yakutia, where he saw a modern approach to creative industries built on national culture. That approach included using artificial intelligence to interpret stories about the people, creating a large library, and preparing a data processing center.
He added that everyone arriving in Altai expects to hear the rich history of the Altai people.
