India Day Festival to Take Place in Moscow in Late August

The India Day festival will be held in Moscow from August 20 to 23 at the Gostiny Dvor exhibition complex, with this year's theme being "Unity of Cultures – Friendship of Peoples."
The 11th edition of the event will offer visitors more than 20 themed zones, a large Indian bazaar with over 120 trade points, a restaurant area featuring cuisine from different Indian regions, a cultural program, dance and culinary masterclasses, yoga, crafts and exhibitions.
For the first time, the festival will include a broad business program focused on interregional and commercial cooperation. Festival founder Sammy Kotwani said the concept was inspired by President Putin's Year of Unity of Peoples of Russia and Prime Minister Modi's idea "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" — the world is one family.
