Estosadok Tops List for Russia's Most Lavish Women's Day Getaways

Forget flowers and chocolates. This International Women's Day, a significant number of Russians opted for luxury travel, with the Krasnodar region's Estosadok resort emerging as the most expensive domestic destination. Data from the OneTwoTrip service, shared with Lenta.ru, reveals the spending patterns.

The top booking was a three-night stay for two at a five-star hotel in Estosadok, including breakfast, costing 165,000 rubles. Saint Petersburg followed, where a trio booked a five-star hotel for three nights without meals for 135,000 rubles. Moscow completed the domestic top three, with a couple spending 123,000 rubles for a luxury hotel stay with breakfast.

Internationally, Paris commanded the highest price. Two travelers are set to spend 138,000 rubles for a two-night stay with breakfast. Another pair chose the Seychelles for a 114,000-ruble weekend. Guangzhou, China, also made the list, with a hotel stay costing 107,000 rubles for two guests.

The trend underscores a shift toward experiential gifting for the holiday. Earlier recommendations had already suggested domestic city breaks as an alternative to traditional March 8th dates, with Saint Petersburg leading that list as well.
