Blogger Calls This Autumn's velvet season in Antalya the Worst in Years

A Russian travel blogger living in Turkey has described this velvet season in Antalya as the worst in recent years, sharing her observations in her personal blog «Мама на море | Турция и путешествия» on Dzen.
According to the blogger, October in Antalya brought rain, clouds and cold — a disappointment for residents and visitors. She said she felt especially sorry for tourists who had deliberately chosen the Turkish resort for autumn, since many come for comfortable weather that allows both beach time and excursions without August's heat. Instead, she wrote, they had to periodically pull out a jacket instead of a swimsuit and check the forecast before every walk.
The sea itself, however, remains warm, with water temperatures around 25 degrees Celsius — comfortable for swimming. The blogger noted that swimming in Antalya is often possible even in November, and said she has no intention of closing her beach season yet.
Earlier, another Russian travel blogger described autumn holidays in Turkey with the phrase "swimming is not guaranteed," explaining that toward the end of October the water gradually cools and long rains and strong winds set in.
