Béis Aims to Tame Airport Chaos With New Luggage That Stacks and Rolls
Béis, the travel brand started by actress Shay Mitchell, is introducing a new line of luggage built for a specific, frustrating moment: the solo trek through a packed airport with too many bags. Available April 23, the Hybrid Roller Suite is the company's first product featuring a patent-pending design that lets suitcases physically connect.
The key is the Béis Coupling System. Each suitcase has collapsible hooks and a reinforced handle that allow a traveler to snap a second bag securely to the back of the first, creating a single, towable train. The goal is to free up a hand and reduce the awkward juggling act at security or while rushing to a gate.
Two models launch the line: a $298 carry-on and a $388 check-in bag. They combine a structured hard-shell frame with softside fabric panels. Béis has added aluminum corner guards for scuff protection and large, smooth-rolling wheels. A notable feature on the larger bag is a built-in scale; an indicator light turns red if the suitcase surpasses the 50-pound airline limit.
Inside, the suitcases include mesh compartments, a spot to hide an Apple AirTag, and removable waterproof pouches for shoes or wet swimsuits. The collection comes in three colors: black, espresso, and a limited-edition dusty blue. Matching protective covers are also for sale.
The Hybrid Rollers will be sold directly through the Béis website, offering a potential new solution for travelers tired of playing baggage Tetris on the go.
