Avianca Streamlines South America Travel with Terminal Move at FLL
Travelers heading to Latin America from South Florida are in for a more seamless experience, thanks to Avianca's decision to relocate its operations at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to Terminal 4. The move, set to take effect on June 29, is part of the airline's efforts to support its growing presence in the region and enhance the passenger experience. By consolidating its operations in Terminal 4, Avianca will have access to a larger, more modern space that can handle its increasing flight volume. This change will also provide international travelers with direct access to the terminal's integrated U.S. Customs and Border Protection facilities, resulting in faster connection times and improved passenger flow. According to Avianca, the relocation demonstrates its commitment to strengthening its operation in South Florida and offering customers a more efficient travel experience. The airline has been working closely with FLL airport officials and the Broward County Aviation Department to ensure a smooth transition, updating its digital systems and signage to direct passengers to the new gates. As part of its broader growth strategy, Avianca operates over 400 weekly flights to and from the United States, connecting 14 major U.S. gateways to more than 80 destinations in Latin America and Europe. Starting June 29, all Avianca flights at FLL will depart from and arrive at Terminal 4, so passengers are advised to check their flight status and boarding passes for the updated gate information.
