Astoria Grande cruises to switch from Sochi to Antalya

RIA NovostiFriday, August 7, 2026

All future Astoria Grande cruises will start and end in Antalya, Turkey, instead of Sochi, the cruise support service told RIA Novosti. The shipowner changed the ports for passenger and crew safety. Most dates stay unchanged.

Passengers keeping bookings get compensation for documented expenses linked to the port change, an onboard credit, a cabin upgrade, airport transfers, and charter flight options from Russian airports. Those unable to travel can postpone or get a refund.

The route will regularly call at Bodrum, Marmaris, Kusadasi, Izmir, Cesme and Bozcaada on visa-free cruises for Russians, plus more stops in Alexandria and a first call at Port Said, Egypt. If a Russian airport closure prevents departure, passengers will be taken to the next port after flights resume. Sales for 2027-2028 open by August 12, 2026.
