Argentine Farming Couple Lands in Magadan During Second Round-the-World Journey

Argentine farming spouses Claudio and Betina Raimondi have arrived in Magadan aboard their private plane during their second round-the-world journey. They told RIA Novosti they are happy to be in the city, which they last visited three years ago, and have already met with local residents.

On this trip they have stopped in Bulgaria and Kazakhstan, and in Russia they spent two nights with a married couple in Barnaul. Despite the fatigue, the pair says they are enjoying the experience, and Betina described the chance to become part of each place's culture as one of the journey's pleasures. Excursions and outdoor recreation have been arranged for them in Magadan. Next they plan to fly to Chukotka, then Alaska, and return to the Argentine city of Mar del Plata by mid-August.
