Aeroflot Adds a Sweet Touch to Easter Sunday Departures

MOSCOW, April 9 – Passengers flying with Aeroflot from Moscow this Easter Sunday won't just be getting to their destination. The airline has announced a festive gesture for those departing on April 12, offering sweet treats across all cabin classes on its own flights.
Russian confectioners have prepared the special Easter gifts. The airline plans to load approximately 3,000 exclusive Easter cards made with real milk chocolate for its Business class travelers. Those flying in Comfort and Economy will receive gingerbread cookies shaped like traditional Easter cake, each accompanied by warm holiday wishes.
In total, Aeroflot expects to distribute over 35,000 of these festive cookies alongside the chocolate cards. The initiative is set for the airline's own flights, though some specific routes may be excluded.
Aeroflot, a major Russian carrier, forms the core of the Aeroflot Group, which also includes airlines Rossiya and Pobeda. The group reported carrying 55.3 million passengers last year, with the flagship airline itself transporting 29.5 million of that total.
