A Century of Style: Gurney’s Montauk and Bond-Eye Australia Join Forces for a Limited Summer Collection

Gurney’s Montauk, the iconic Hamptons beachfront resort, is turning 100 this summer—and it’s celebrating with a splash. The luxury hotel and spa has teamed up with cult Australian swimwear label Bond-Eye on a special capsule collection launching Friday. The partnership pairs a century of seaside hospitality with Bond-Eye’s signature crinkle fabric and relaxed coastal aesthetic.

The collaboration kicks off with a private sunrise yoga session on the hotel’s oceanfront fitness deck, led by instructor Kat Ruiz for invited guests and media. Over the weekend of July 11 and 12, the resort will host a beachside retail cabana, sunset happy hours, and immersive beach activities designed to capture the Montauk lifestyle. Michael Nenner, Gurney’s president, called it “a celebration of wellness, community, and the effortless luxury that has defined Gurney’s for a century.”

The Bond-Eye x Gurney’s collection includes six swim styles—one-pieces and bikinis made from the brand’s recycled Authentic Crinkle fabric, handcrafted in Australia with four-way stretch. Ready-to-wear pieces like quarter-zips, long-sleeve tops, a T-shirt, hat, and towel round out the lineup. Prices range from $100 to $235 for swimwear and $75 to $175 for apparel and accessories. The collection will be sold exclusively at Gurney’s, on Bond-Eye’s website, and at its new stores in New York City and Los Angeles—plus its recently opened pop-up on Astir Beach in Athens.

Steve Philpott, Bond-Eye’s founder and CEO, said the partnership felt natural because both brands “celebrate an elevated coastal lifestyle” rooted in timeless design and escape. Nenner echoed that sentiment, noting the goal was to create meaningful experiences, not just sell products. “Together, we’ve captured the spirit of summer in Montauk,” he said, “bringing people together in unforgettable settings by the water.”
