50 Top Pizza Names West London's Napoli on the Road Best Pizza in the World for 2026

The international guide 50 Top Pizza has released its 2026 ranking of the world's best pizzerias, with a first-time world champion taking the top spot in West London.

Napoli on the Road, which now has three London locations in Chiswick, Richmond, and Soho, was praised by the panel as a "reference point for those looking for a modern interpretation of Neapolitan tradition, built with talent, ambition, and vision." Chef Michele Pascarella's menu includes the Wild Marinara and four plant-based pies.

Una Pizza Napoletana on New York's Lower East Side claimed second place. Anthony Mangieri's restaurant, which previously held the top spot three years running, serves just six pizzas and reserves one pie per guest.

Milan's Confine took third, offering tasting menus with wine and cocktail pairings and a 500-bottle wine list. Caserta's I Masanielli - Francesco Martucci placed fourth, followed by Seu Pizza Illuminati in Rome.

The list also recognized pizzerias in Los Angeles, San Francisco, São Paulo, Tokyo, Madrid, and Jersey City, reflecting a mix of traditional and experimental approaches.
